Born in Long Island, NY, (1975) Veronica Martell began her stage career at age 8 in a grammar school production of the musical, "Godspell".  She also began her singing career around the same time starting where most young singers cut their teeth; in the church.

After years of stage performances in high school, college and regional stage productions, she recorded her first single at the age of 18 and began her professional career as a vocalist. 

To date, Veronica has recorded and released 6 CDs and has performed on stages all over the globe.  

She has had an illustrious career as a jazz vocalist, headlining at the Copenhagen Jazz Festival and was named one of the "hottest new talents in jazz" by the acclaimed Jazz Review Magazine.

 

Veronica has also been featured on numerous radio and television jingles.   

Her television credits include the feature film "Weekend @ Blackthorne Manor" to be released in 2023 on Lifetime TV and a co-star appearance on the hit series, "Baywatch".  

Veronica has starred Off Broadway in the limited run holiday show, "Sleigh Bells Swing" and in a dramatic play, "Drinking Games",.   In 2019, Veronica was cast as Captain Josephine Moore in the staged reading of "Dublin Rising, A New Musical" which is currently in development.  

As a vocalist, Veronica has toured and performed as an opening act at private events with John Mayer, Cindy Lauper, Joe Cocker and Tony Bennett and headlined at events for HRH Prince Albert of Monaco, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, President Bill Clinton and the Rockefeller family, among many other notables. 

Veronica resides in NY with her husband, actor Billy Rick, and their three children.
